In the noon of Dec. 20, the landslide happened in industrial park in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province with the area of about 100,000 square meters which lead to more than ten building collapsed in the whole industrial park and relevant departments in Shenzhen expended their rescue works.

At 22:00 that night, CSS Group Guangzhou Office received an emergency rescue request that Shenzhen Media Group need transmission equipments. Group’s CEOs conducted immediately and arranged engineers from Guangzhou Office to drive cars to Shenzhen Media Group with equipments from Cogent technologies limited as quickly as possible. Besides that, the team went to landslide site with T30, T340, decoder 4G HD, Nanosat HD portable satellite station, digital microwave and TVU 4G products from Cogent technologies limited( hereinafter referred to as Cogent) under CSS Group.

On Dec. 21, 8 o’clock, sage scientific team went into setting up the equipments and dispatching signals with experts from Shenzhen Media Group and fulfilled all the equipments preparing work before noon. At noon, Guan Ruifeng and Li Ran from Guangzhou Office devoted themselves to live news broadcast at the landslide front site with three suits of Cogent 4G transmission equipments separately.

Liu Yujun and Lin Xinyu from Guangzhou Office were in the general control broadcast room of Shenzhen TV station to assist the station to dispatch the signals back from the front site and make sure the video’s stability and fluency from the front site the first time. At 18:30, live pictures from the front site transmitted from Cogent equipments were seen on the evening news of Shenzhen TV station. That evening, large quantities of live news materials transmitted from Cogent were applied to the local news column of Public Channel and City Channel.
From Dec. 22, 8 o’clock in the morning, Shenzhen TV station adjusted the broadcasting time and contents, 10 schedules of live broadcast all day and 15 minutes live broadcast per hour. During the whole process, most of the live transmission work including rescue site, command center and settlements were provided by Cogent equipments.
Till released today, our team was still fighting in the first rescue site. Let’s show our respect to them and prey for the victims!
