On July 1, 1997, Chinese government regained the sovereignty over Hong Kong and started the new era of “one country, two systems” and “Hong Kong self-ruling”. Now twenty years have passed. To celebrate the return day, various warm-up activities were carried out throughout Hong Kong. On June 27, the eleventh session of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions, i.e. 2017 summer Davos Forum, was opened at Dalian International Conference Center. Li Keqiang, premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and gave a special speech. With a theme of “Achieving Inclusive Growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, this summer Davos Forum serves as an important platform to promote economic development in China and the whole region.
The forum witnessed ubiquitous technical innovations. Cogent 4G transmission products independently developed by the Group received great acclaim in the market. They were also used during live broadcasting and returning services for the three-day live reporting of the forum, and fully reflected the “Chinese smart manufacturing” concept exhibited to the whole world during this forum.

At 11:05 a.m. on June 26, the Chinese standard G123 Fuxing DMU from Beijing South Railway Station to Shanghai Hongqiao started steadily. Fuxing is a standard Chinese DMU developed under the organization of China Railway, featuring fully proprietary intellectual property rights and state-of-the-art technologies.
At 13:44 p.m. on the same day, Fuxing DMU decelerated and entered Shandong Zaozhuang Railway Station, completing half of total journey. Immediately before reaching Zaozhuang, the train was aired live, and the live signals were returned by Cogent 4G equipment. This allowed the public to know internal structure of the train for the first time. The live broadcast was quite successful thanks to the convenient returning function and quality synchronized pictures. Together we witnessed start of the standard Chinese DMU age.
